BUSINESS MANAGER (PART-TIME)

We are looking for a Business Manager who is a self-starter with high initiative, sharp organizational skills, and the ability to identify and address gaps before they become problems. This role involves managing core business functions, including operations, payroll, insurance, employee coordination, and waitlists—while supporting expanding our practice and educational programs. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, startup-like environments, communicates directly and effectively, and is eager to learn and grow with us.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily business operations to ensure smooth, efficient functioning
- Oversee and coordinate payroll, insurance, and HR/employee management
- Maintain and organize client waitlists and scheduling systems
- Identify inefficiencies or business gaps and proactively propose solutions
- Collaborate directly with the founder to align business needs
- Monitor compliance and support documentation workflows as needed
- Adapt quickly to new tools, platforms, and processes
- Set up and develop foundational administrative systems and processes to support long-term growth.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Proven ability to self-manage and take initiative without needing constant oversight
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with direct and honest communication while also able to adapt to diplomatic interactions
- Ability to analyze business operations and identify gaps or inefficiencies
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Flexibility to adapt to a growing and changing business environment
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating digital tools, spreadsheets, and cloud-based platforms
- Availability to work 10–20 hours per week, with openness to expand into a full-time role
- A strong interest in business development, operations, or healthcare administration
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and discretion
- Experience in small business operations, healthcare, therapy practices, or continuing education (it´s a plus)
- Familiarity with managing payroll, insurance, HR tasks, and waitlists (it´s a plus)
- Background or education in business, healthcare administration, or a related field. (it's a plus).
