,VENDOR ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

We are looking for a Vendor Acquisition Specialist who understands the main negotiation principles and how to communicate the company's value add with vendors. That possesses a process-oriented mindset, demonstrating efficiency and purpose in expanding the vendor base. Also Building relationships is second nature.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify and approach potential vendors aligning with the company's needs and standards.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective vendors, including details on offerings, pricing, and terms.
· Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality deliverables.
· Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential vendors, aligning partnerships with organizational goals.
· Set and achieve sales targets and quotas as outlined by the company.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted outreach campaigns and materials, tailoring messaging to resonate with the restaurant sector.
· Coordinate with the vendor relationship team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new vendors, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.
· Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, adapting strategies accordingly.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Related Field
· Proven experience in selling a service or product
· Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management
· Excellent follow-up, follow-through skills
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
· with internal and external stakeholders
· Team player with a positive, proactive attitude and ability to have difficult conversations
· Restaurant background preferred but not required
POSITION SCHEDULE DETAILS
· Full-time remote position.
· Monday - Friday (40 hours/week).
